IN MEMORY OF ILONA MIHALYI (1942-2008)Ilona Mihalyi, the unselfish worker and driving force behind the resounding success of Hungarian naturism died on July 2 at Szekesfehervar.A native of Pecs in south-west Hungary, Ila affectionately to all of us, married and settled in the medieval capital of Hungary, Szekesfehervar, in a 200-year-old renovated house, which she run it as a guest-house. In the 8os, together with the late Laszlo Molnar (1932-2001) she arranged the naturist meetings at the famous Arpad Baths and welcomed hundreds of Hungarian and foreign naturists. In 1992 she joined Judit Halasz and her crew in the naturist film "Lakes of Natural Youth" and later participated in the annual Alps-Adriatic meeting in Monsena. A fluent English-speaking person Ilona offered her help to domestic and foreign naturists. In the person of Ilona Mihalyi we lost a good friend and committed naturist.She is survived by a son, Tamas, and, two grandchildren, Balazs and Eszter. May God rest her soul! | |
