| What is Naturism? Naturism is a way of life in harmony with nature. It is characterized by common nudity which has as aim: The promotion of self respect, respect for other people and respect for nature and environment. Above definition was used many years' by the NFN (Dutch Naturist Federation) to define the term "naturism". The NFN decided to let that definition go. The reason there for was to make the naturism more accessible for the general public. A disadvantage of it is that the original ideology in the concept of the NFN has mainly gone as a result of which the difference between naturism and nudism is. For newcomers and people who are unknown with naturism, it became very vague and still is. Why Naturism? Naturism educates to love and respect for nature and to be a happier person. It’s a wonderful feeling to recreate. swimming in a river, or feeling the rain fall down on your naked body drying up while you sun bathing, We say "yes" against this form of recreation and want contribute that what is more beautiful, free and pure. When you whit friends and people you now and share the same ideas.  To be naked in nature "does" something with your individuality. You will experience it as a release. Almost everyone who makes the first step, say “Yes”. And that is exactly where naturism stands for.
Nudity belongs to a general way of life and in free nature, at sport and games, where clothing is superfluous and unpleasant. As well in sunbathing, body exercises such as yoga, massage, etc. Each time that you will be along whit naturists and strips unobstructed to enjoy sun, you feel nature strikes your body, you will experience every time the mentally and physically "liberation ". And that is no wonder, in such company as nature. There is nothing to hide for each other. It’s a free and joy full experience. | |
